Immersive Retreats in the French Countryside

Our immersive retreats are a great way to polish up your French while enjoying the beauty of the Normandy countryside.

All retreats feature room and board in our charming country house, private French lessons daily, several group lessons, and lots of time to enjoy the surroundings in Le Perche, Normandy.

Additional activities in your retreat include visits to local markets, biking, hiking in the forest, yoga classes, cooking classes, French movie nights and much more. Each retreat is a little different and can be modified to fit each group’s needs.

Which Retreat is Right for Me?

Before booking your retreat, I recommend you book one or two private classes, so that I can ensure the retreat meets your language learning needs.

Your package includes room, all meals, snacks and beverages, except alcoholic beverages.

A payment plan is available if needed, of which the terms can be discussed together.

French Immersion Retreats

Typical Daily Schedule

8:00 -9:00 am: Breakfast will be adapted to each participant. You tell me your wishes before the retreat starts, and you’ll have your favorite breakfast ! (Sports of most any kind can be arranged — solo or in group — such as running, walking, yoga, pilates, etc.)
9:30 -12:30 pm: Daily private and/or small group French lessons for each participant.
12:30 - 2:00 pm: Lunch
2:30 - 5:00 pm: Afternoon activities (see below for examples)
5:30 - 9:00 pm: Cooking workshop and dinner
9:00 pm: Presentation by a retreat participant about the topic of his choice, prepared together in adance (job, passion - sport, music, etc., travel…)
Optional evening activities

Note: The daily program may vary according to the weather, group size and participants’ desired activities.

Walk in the Bellême forest.
Half-day electric bike tour
Visit the nearby small villages (La Perrière, Bellême)
DIY Pottery workshop

French immersion Retreat in the Normandy Countryside

Join us for 4 nights and 3 days of French language immersion (beginner, intermediate or advanced level) in the beautiful region of Le Perche, Normandy in northern France. Arrival is on Thursday around 7pm and departure is on Monday around 10am (possibility to leave on Sunday night if requested).

Pricing :

1.300€ for one person
1.100€ per person for two participants
950€ per person for three participants
900€ per person for four participants

Refer a friend (whom I don’t know yet) who joins us and you will get two free private classes!

Optional add-ons :

E-bike rentals (half-day = 25€)
Pottery workshop (2 hours = 50€) - You pick the colors, and will create 4 pieces : 2 espresso cups, 1 plate, 1 bowl (see picture). I’ll go back and pick them up for you one week later, after the pottery has dried.
